Frequently asked questions
How do I create an account?
Open the Cosmos app and sign in with your Google or Apple account. Your account is created automatically the first time you sign in, and you can then complete your profile with your name, photo, and other details.
How do I join a group?
Groups in Cosmos are invitation-based. A group admin can send you an invitation by email or through the app. Depending on the group's settings, you may be asked to answer a short questionnaire before your membership is approved.
How do I create my own group?
From the Groups tab, tap "Create group", give your group a name and cover photo, and start inviting members. As a group admin you can publish announcements, manage invitations, assign duties, and moderate your community.
I didn't receive my invitation email. What should I do?
First, check your spam or junk folder — invitation emails are sent from an @cosmossoftware.net address. If you still can't find it, ask the group admin to resend the invitation, or contact us at support@cosmossoftware.net.
How do I change my profile information or photo?
Go to the Profile tab in the app. Tap your photo to change it, and edit your name, bio, location, and social links from the same screen. You can also control what other members can see in Privacy Settings.
Who can see my phone number or personal details?
Your phone number is never shown to other members. You can manage the visibility of your other profile details in the app under Profile → Privacy Settings. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I report inappropriate content or a user?
Group admins can remove messages and members that violate group rules. If you encounter abusive content or behavior, email us at support@cosmossoftware.net with a screenshot and we will investigate promptly.
How do I delete my account and data?
Send a deletion request from your registered email address to support@cosmossoftware.net with the subject "Account Deletion". We will permanently delete your account and associated personal data and confirm once completed.
The app isn't working properly. What can I try?
Make sure you are on the latest version of the app from the App Store or Google Play, then try closing and reopening the app. If the problem continues, restart your device. Still stuck? Email us with your device model and app version and we'll help.
